Ahh, music. We all love it, right? There are many different genres, artists, categories... Well, we have good news for whoever likes video game soundtracks. Here is your dedicated thread. No need to clog up the General Discussion - you can share your favorites in this thread.

...Also, we really want to hear what you listen to. As of the time this thread was posted, I've been listening to the same four videogame soundtracks for several days. I don't know about all of you guys, StoneWall especially, but not only am I eager to share, I also need to hear more music interests, because I'm slowly dying here.

So, tell us of your favorite artists, games and soundtracks in this thread!

Gamewise, probably the best soundtrack is that from the Metroid Prime Trilogy, closely followed by Banjo-Tooie. Hard to pick favorites but if I want to listen to something for awhile it would likely be these:

Incidentally those are my favorite games....

As for movies, I think my favorite one is from Rogue One, although Duel of the Fates and Jedi Temple March are also good.

Call of Duty is often lambasted for being a ridiculous, lazy franchise which recycles its games every year.  However, its soundtrack composers still bring excellent work to the table.

This fantastic piece of music from artist Mick Gordon is featured in the new survival-horror shooter Prey:
