Hey you! That’s right, you! If you’re reading this message, you’ve been chosen to participate in the Gauntlet! A series of mind-boggling, death-defying, mysterious puzzles and challenges for my entertainment. Me! The great and powerful Zooz. You should consider it a great honor… And best of all, it’s mandatory!
But first I’ve got to break the fourth wall and tell you the rules of the roleplay. Gotta get this boring stuff out of the way before we get to all the fun, you know? Ugh, I hate the boring stuff, but I guess it’s super important… That’s what my sister would tell me anyway.
RULES OF THE RP
1. No autoing, god-modding, metagaming, or powerplaying. (However there are certain exceptions that may arise given the circumstances of this RP).2. You must submit a minimum of three (3) characters and they must fit the character sheet template that will be provided below. These characters may be brand new or they may be ones you’ve used in previous roleplays. They must be something of your creation—no fan-characters or copyrighted characters.
3. You must PM me your character sheet for approval. I will be posting your character sheets so I can keep everything organized.
4. Both magic and science fiction based characters are allowed in this roleplay.
5. God-like characters are NOT allowed. This pretty much includes anyone with invincibility, teleportation, omniscience, omnipotence, the ability to hop between dimensions, etc… However there are certain exceptions—feel free to bring these up if you feel your character is qualified.
6. Take a moment right now to go write “beep boop” somewhere on your character sheet before reading the other rules.
7. This is a COOPERATIVE roleplay. That means you should not submit characters that are incapable of working as a team, nor should you bring anyone that resorts to senseless violence.
8. Despite what rule 7 said, you can sabotage other players if you like! Think of this RP as an episode of Survivor, or some other reality or game show. Just remember to keep your characters in character. Sally-Do-Gooder wouldn’t stab Stacy-Sweet-Talker in the back, now would she?
9. Characters may ‘die’ in this roleplay, but it will not be permanent, and it will not be at the hands of any other person’s characters. There will be no character-on-character combat to the death, though there may be fights if two characters have a disagreement. It makes good television, alright? Outright death of contestants doesn’t.
10. Avoid sexual content at all costs. However, romance and swearing are allowed.
11. If you don’t like RNG, don’t join this roleplay. I will be rolling the dice to determine some things, and if you can’t handle random chance, don’t join. I will tell you however that anything left up to RNG will not result in anything horrendous.
12. Don’t be a douche. That means no flaming, trolling, or harassment. Arguments should be taken up with me or privately with the person you’re having a disagreement with. Don’t involve everybody. Solve your own problems like adults, you whackjobs.
13. I reserve the right to eject anyone from the RP at any time if they’re being unreasonable or otherwise breaking the rules.

RULES OF THE GAUNTLET
1. Each person must have three varied characters at their disposal. At any time, one character will be on the playing field and the other two will be waiting in the lobby.
2. The lobby is a place where powers/abilities/technology are nullified. Therefore there will be no killing or escape attempts while in the lobby. Characters in the lobby may interact with each other and can commentate on the happenings on the playing field, but they cannot interact with characters that are currently IN the playing field. Food and drinks and entertainment are provided until a character is tagged in to the playing field.
3. When tagged, one character is switched out for another of the player’s choice. Tagging only occurs at the start of each puzzle. You cannot tag a character in during the middle of a puzzle.
4. If your character is defeated by a puzzle, (whether outsmarted or ‘killed’) they will be required to spend a turn in the recovery tent. They cannot interact with anyone until the next puzzle is over. If a player’s characters are defeated three times, they lose and cannot continue in the RP.
5. In the lobby and on the playing field, there may be special advantages given to the inquisitive character/player. These advantages are called POWER UPS and are locked to the character that received them. They may not be traded and can have a variety of effects. Know that POWER UPS can have disastrous consequences—though they might not always.
6. POWER UPS are also available upon completing certain (and not obvious) bonus challenges on the playing field. Note that all POWER UPS are one-use only, and will be removed from the character’s inventory after use.
7. The aforementioned ‘disastrous consequences’ and the puzzles that the player’s characters are subject to are completely randomized, as in Sar will be rolling a dice to decide everything. (So don’t whine if you get something you don’t like—it’s all luck of the draw. Blame RNG.)
8. Characters will not permanently die. The worst thing that can happen is they can get is sent to the recovery tent for the duration of a puzzle.
POWER UPS
1. TAG-TEAM: Once activated, the character may tag in another character at the time of use. Tagged character will remain in the puzzle for the duration of the puzzle. May be used any time.
2. REVITALIZE: Any injuries sustained (or anything else that warrants one DEFEAT status) are removed from the character’s record. This can be used last-minute to save a player from dropping out of the RP, or it can work like a full energy-restore or health pack to keep a character going during a puzzle.
3. PHONE-CALL: The character may call one person from across the multiverse for assistance with the puzzle. Phone call lasts until puzzle is solved or until someone has hung up. (Recipients of call are subject to approval by Sar).
4. SUMMON ITEM: Once activated, character may summon any item that they can hold with one hand. Item will disappear after the end of the puzzle, as will any effects it may or may not have. (Items are subject to approval by Sar).
5. SUPER-SPEED: Grants character super-speed for three (3) of the player’s posts.

Physical Appearance: hulking muscular humanoid beaver-like alien, standing upright on two digitigrade legs. His entire body (with the exception of the tail) is covered in brown semi-soft fur. He is about 8 feet tall and weighs several hundred pounds. He wears nothing but green digital camoflauge cargo pants.
Personality: Tank is the ultimate masculine character. Contrary to what you might think however, he's not that dumb, but he does have some anger issues which can impede his judgement, which compounds his stubborness. He does have some morals, which are mostly the fact that he is totally okay with fighting, but he doesn't really approve of things like kicking puppies or needlessly killing innocents.
Likes: His two favorite hobbies are working out and working on vehicles as a mechanic. He also enjoys things like hunting. He is a materialistic man, and values things like female company, things like cool guns or other toys, and of course he does love a challenge.
Dislikes: things like being required to skip through flower fields (blame Wedge)
Skills: skilled at piloting, can pick up and use just about any small arms and most crew served weapons, very good at hand to hand combat (especially punching), good with most sport related stuff, and of course is a decent mechanic. Tank is actually a soldier, so things that are related to that are things he can probably do.
Powers/Abilities: Tank's primary power is superstrength, allowing him to with some difficulty move whatever objects is in his way out of said way (however there are limits on this based on other physical factors, like lifting a mountain is out of the question due to it not being solid). Complimenting his strength is extreme durability, allowing him to take large amounts of kinetic and energy damage from things such as space naval artillery before being damaged, although he can and will be knocked flying and does feel pain. Finally, he heals at an accelerated rate, allowing what damage he does take to heal in around 5-20 minutes depending on the damage.

World of Origin: alternative Earth
Physical Appearance: Petri is an ellipsoid grey granite stone, approximately 12 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 6 inches tall. His surface is semi smooth, and he weighs about 25 pounds.
Personality: Petri is kind of neutral in personality, preferring to be on at least civil if not good terms with those he meets. He can be quite helpful if you're nice to him, and often maintains a rather positive attitude. He has ended up becoming quite a good listener because of this, as it takes a fair amount of effort to communicate. Were communication not so hard, he would probably be the best of friends, since he isn't very judging and likes to help people.
He is slightly pragmatic though, and doesn't have any qualms about using what he has to work with, meaning that those who want to do him harm tend to get hurt fairly quickly.
Likes: exploring, nature, etc
Dislikes: rude people
Skills: Petri has a pretty well rounded practical knowlege of things, enough so that he can be a valuable ally. He also is a pretty good aim.
Powers/Abilities: Petri's primary power is self-telekinesis, allowing him to rotate, jump, and accelerate through space, with a maximum exerted force of 150 pounds. This allows him to move around, and attack if necessary. Theoretically, this allows him to attain a rather impressive velocity, however care must be taken as if he hits something too hard he will shatter, as granite is somewhat brittle.
Petri is also capable altering his own temperature within a range 0 and 2500 degrees Fahrenheit (dT=41.667 deg/sec, full range in 60 sec). In melted form, he is capable of flowing at the dismally slow speed lava is known for, as well as arranging into different basic shapes.
Being a sentient rock, Petri's vitality is not tied to the functioning of any internal organs, and therefore he can survive quite a few things, including shattering. Should any piece above around pea gravel size or larger be broken off, it retains the properties of the main stone and can be controlled up to a half mile away (often this will be used to reincorperate it back into the main body via melting). However, any pieces that are vaporized or smaller than pea gravel size, or that leave a half mile range from the main body are permanantly lost and become normal stone.
Petri has extremely good vision (visible, IR, UV), hearing and smell (comparable to a dog), as well as tremorsense, which allows him to fairly accurately feel via ground vibration where something is, so long as it is moving.
Other: Petri cannot speak in any way, nor make any noise apart from thumping the ground via hopping. If he had a mouth, he say "beep boop", but we're not sure.

Species: military bio-replica exploration robot
World of Origin: the Universe, unknown galaxy
Physical Appearance: Thickly built, standing 2 meters (6' 7") tall, with somewhat saurian features (does not have a tail though) and digitigrade legs. Blue-grey skin is somewhat rough, and covers thick muscles. Back of head is elongated, and mouth is large, dominating front of head. Two eyes which are mostly black pupil, are mounted forward and a little to the sides. Has claws on hands and feet, and large teeth in mouth. Voice is baritone masculine.
Personality: Sigma is usually very calm, displaying a cool confidence that one would expect from a professional soldier. He is often polite, but becomes blunt if someone does something stupid. He is extremely determined and patient, willing to keep going and to wait as much as needed to accomplish goals, since after all, he's not going anywhere anytime soon. He will often try to dissuade others from fighting him if possible, to help preserve his synthetic identity. Speaking of said identity, he does not like to reveal it if possible, although is willing to do so if either it will help him or if he needs to use his special abilities to solve a problem. When he speaks, his language tends to be a little on the formal technical side, and intellectuals can enjoy conversations with him due to his high intelligence (although certain types of philosophy will be bluntly shot down). He doesn't really harbor personal grudges, even against the Kyrenians (see below), as he finds them unproductive.

Skills: Capable of picking up just about any handheld weapon and using it with some proficiency, especially guns. He's meant for exploration and a bit of spying, so whatever skills are required there he can probably do within reason.
Powers/Abilities:
Small matterconverter core provides energy source, allowing it to consume any material for fuel. Consumed material is often stored in compressed chips, which are then injected into system when more energy is needed (lowers the unit’s thermal signature).
Healing system is capable of repairing skin and other minor damage using nanotech and matterconverter core. Large amounts of damage require more time and external maintenance.
Has electromagnets in hands and feet for adhering to surfaces.
Endoskeleton composed of superalloy, can withstand large amounts of physical trauma and extreme heat.
Skin is composed of biofiber weave (appears living but is not), with subdermal insulation layer to fool basic scans. Resealable micro-seams around joints such as shoulders can detach, allowing for 360 degree rotation without tearing of skin.
Movement primarily provided by hydraulic balloon muscles, with electric servomotors which engage when extra speed and strength is needed. It is capable of blurring speed and can punch through thin concrete.
Possesses powerful passive hyperspectral vision across EM range, as well as sensitive radiation, acoustic, olfactory, and gravimetric sensors.
Has active X-ray radar system which allows it to see through walls in a limited manner at close range.
Possesses an energy vent/gravimetric accelerator in its mouth, which can act as a plasma flamethrower or particle beam weapon.
Claws and teeth and are alloy covered with ultrahard layer which approximates natural material, and can slice/puncture metal.
Design Limitations:
Use of mouth weapons, detachment of skin seams, sufficient damage to skin, and thermal signature (when in combat mode) will easily betray robotic nature.
X-ray vision is blocked by things like thick metal or thick concrete and works only for materials adjacent to sensor
Mouth weapon is energy intensive, prolonged use requires fuel consumption
Large mechanical damage to endoskeleton must be repaired by unit, as healing cannot fix it
Other: despite being a robot, you will likely never hear Sigma say "Beep boop", as this is silly and doesn't make sense.
Valnarian's Characters
- Erukai Gudarien, Saritas:
- Name: Erukai Gudarien, Saritas
Age: 31
Gender: Male
Species: Gerran
World of Origin: Gerrako
Physical Appearance: Erukai is around ten feet in height (average for his species), and has a human looking face with light-brown skin, and black, shoulder-length hair. His irises are purple with some flecks of gold around the outer rims, and his front teeth are sharp. His skin quality is similar to a human’s. He has four fingers per hand (three fingers and a thumb) with short, sharp, black claws. He has digitigrade legs ending in three toes per foot. His armor, when deployed, covers him entirely, and is dark silver-blue in color. The helmet is surmounted by four-hornlike projections, and has a red visor, giving him a frightening appearance when the armor is deployed. When not deployed, his armor retracts to his spine, where it appears as a bluish, metallic ridge down his back. Beneath the armor is a metallic-looking, dark-gray, formfitting suit of flexible material covering his body up the wrists, ankles, and bottom third of his neck. The armor is bonded to his nervous system, and cannot be removed without seriously injuring, or even killing him.
Personality: Erukai is mostly a quiet, thoughtful individual, tending to be straight forward, and does not mince words when he speaks. He is a bit cynical, and slow to trust anyone. He is usually calm and collected, and capable of keeping a cool head in combat. Although fairly patient, he can occasionally have bursts of sometimes violent temper, though he can usually get his control back quickly. When he sees it as necessary, he can kill quickly and with an almost frightening calm; however, killing is something he takes no joy in, like so many of his race seem to. He is in fact deeply compassionate, and despises unnecessary slaying, especially of women and children; however, he rarely admits to this, as these qualities were seen as great weaknesses in his culture. He makes a point of keeping his thoughts and feelings to himself, and has become quite good at keeping secrets, and can lie convincingly; however, if pressed on something he is sensitive about, he can start to get edgy.
Likes: Life doesn’t really allow for much, but he secretly likes drawing.
Dislikes: Erukai hates his own life.
Skills: Erukai has received extensive military training, and is an accomplished hand-to-hand combatant, both in terms of fist-fighting and swordplay. He is also a skilled marksmen.
Powers/Abilities: : When his armor is not deployed, Erukai possesses the abilities one would expect from a healthy, well-trained member of his species, being fairly fast, agile, and enduring, as well as possessing strength about two and a half times greater than a human. When his armor is deployed, his strength is increased by a factor of about thirty, and he can leap fifteen feet up and double that forwards. His helmet has a HUD which allows him to detect heat, and various other forms of the electromagnetic radiation. In each forearm, he has a retractable, curved, single-sided blade, as well as energy guns that, depending on how much power he gives them, can blow up something up to the size of a large car. His armor is extremely durable, and can handle a lot of punishment. It is also equipped with a self-repairing mechanism. Repair time varies in relation to how much damage the armor has received; the self-repair function is able to function faster and more efficiently if the armor is retracted. His power systems also have a constant recharge function to ensure that his armor remains functional. This system can keep pace with general activity easily enough, although the use of the firearms puts a strain on this; in theory, if Erukai were to use his firearms continuously for ten hours straight, he could completely deplete his power. Erukai is also able to produce an energy blade from each forearm capable of cutting all but the strongest materials, and can also produce a force field that is capable of holding off all but the most powerful attacks. However, each of these can completely drain his power reserves after only ten minutes of continuous use, so he uses them only as a last resort. If his armor runs out of power, it retracts, and remains so until it has sufficiently recharged for minimum use, leaving Erukai vulnerable for that period of time.
Other: Sometimes his armor goes “beep boop.”
- Supani'sav (Nodd):
- Name: Supani’sav (but generally goes by Nodd)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Qwi’Ren
World of Origin: Valnar
Physical Appearance: Nodd is five foot ten, and is covered in fur, similar to a panther’s, being smooth, silky, and sleeked to his body. The fur is fairly dark, purplish-black on the dorsal side, grading to some grayish-brown beneath; this grades further to sandy brown on the throat, chin and cheeks, as well as under his underarms and hands, and on his feet and tarsi. He has a somewhat sheep-like face, but with a more prominent brow and somewhat rounder cranium. He has a mane of longer hair starting as a narrow point on the top of his head, and then broadening out to what would be places of hair growth on humans. He has the slightest beginnings of a beard on his chin. This mane, in fact, is almost exactly like human hair in way it grows on his head, and extends past his shoulders in length. He has arms and a torso structured like a human, but has pointed claws on his fingers. His legs are digitigrade, and end in four, weight-bearing toes, clawed like his fingers, and dewclaws on his tarsi. He has a longish tail similar to a cat’s in appearance, with the fur being longer and thicker towards the end, giving the impression that the tail itself is thicker here. He wears a plain, sand-brown toga which comes just past his knees, and has sandals that are made to fit his feet.
Personality: Nodd has a heart of gold. He is kind, and trusting to a fault, and would never tell a lie. He tries always to see the best in others, and is very willing to forgive. Although training to be a missionary, he has had no experience outside of Valnar, so while he has heard that things people and things are different and often bad, he does not grasp the depth of it. As such, he is innocent and naïve, guile-less and gullible, and being unfamiliar with dishonesty, can often be deceived easily. He too readily believes that people are motivated by the best intentions, and is always surprised and horrified to find otherwise. He has no experience in dangerous situations, and sometimes can be so bewildered by the evil he sees around him that he can freeze up; however, when he feels he knows what to do, or what is right, he doesn’t hesitate to do it. He is fairly brave, and makes the most loyal friend you can ask for. He is always ready to give comfort and counsel to anyone, although, in a moral disagreement, he can sometimes be at a loss what to say since he takes everything he believes as given and obvious.
Likes: Nodd loves most things, being fond especially of music and singing, and especially loves animals and plants.
Dislikes: None that he could name. Then again, he hasn’t been around much.
Skills: Nodd is great at reading and writing, and has a knack for translating. His most noticeable skill, however, is his singing ability. Like all of his kind, he has a beautiful voice, but his is even more lovely than average; even when he is simply talking his voice is pleasing to hear, made more so by his gracious and kindly way of speaking. His singing frequently can cause people to have strong emotional reactions, sometimes bringing up memories and feelings that they generally keep hidden.
Powers/Abilities: Nodd is fairly athletic, and has a great sense of balance, enough that he can walk along a tree branch or other such narrow bridge without too much trouble. Otherwise, his strength and agility are average for his species, being about that of a similar-sized human. He is considered by many to have wisdom past what one would expect for one of his age.

- Recon Asimov Unit Beta-116:
- Name: Recon Asimov Unit Beta-116

Species: Asimov Recon Unit
World of Origin: Earth 91
Physical Appearance: Recon is a human brain encased in a highly advanced robotic body. When resting, he appears to be a white sphere. He is also a sphere when he is in flight; however, several plates, containing anti-gravity devices extend from his body, and he has one glowing red robotic eye. Otherwise, his body opens up into a humanoid form, covered mostly with white plates, with a black, rubberlike material in more flexible areas (this same material also is present on the bottoms of his hands and feet). Overall, he is of the same size and build and strength as a clean-cut seventeen-year-old male. The top of his head is mostly covered in skull-like plates, but his face is made of a white, flexible material that is shaped like a teenage male human’s. He has three fingers to each hand, and three toes to each foot. His feet are digitigrade, with two toes facing forward and one facing back.
Personality: Most of the time, Recon is highly focused on whatever he has been assigned to do, and gives little thought to anything else. If he encounters some problem or unusual circumstance, he usually tackles it carefully, and in a highly thoughtful and intelligent matter. Practical and usually sticking to the present moment, he does at times experience flashbacks from what seem to be a previous life; at these times, he acts confused and disturbed, and is highly melancholy. Overall, he does have a good deal of consideration for what happens to others. He is also somewhat sensitive of the fact that, although mostly machine, he still has something organic and real inside, so you probably shouldn’t tease him with the words “beep boop.”
Likes: Hard to say, since he rarely gives thought to such things. However, he has been known to be affected by the sight of beauty, such as that of a painting or nature.
Dislikes: None that he knows of at this time.
Skills: See the next section.
Powers/Abilities: As mentioned above, Recon has the ability to fly. He is fast, and extremely agile, being able to jump very high. He is also able to climb and cling to smooth surfaces, and can modify his appendages for various purposes, or even produce additional ones if needed. Overall, his strength is nothing extraordinary, his fighting skills mostly limited to self-defense. I his two main arms, he has a pair of laser blades, this being the summation of his weaponry. He is very intelligent, is a good problem solver, and thanks to his brains enhancements, able to think, react, and process information far more rapidly than a human could. His organic brain requires that he be periodically infused with nutrients to ensure its health.
Other: It has been suspected by many that many of the Asimov units were not in fact volunteers, but rather, people who had been kidnapped and then brainwashed before being converted.
Prussian's Characters:
- Recet Dyruri:
- Name: Recet Dyruri
Age: 23
Gender: Biologically asexual. Male, for all intents and purposes.
Species: Celik
Physical Appearance: Recet Dyruri is a Celik. Standing at 4’8” tall, he is around the average height for Celiks. As is the case for other Celiks, Recet is eyeless, and relies on a device known as a VBT to provide light-based sight. An array of antennae on the back of his head are sensitive to smell, touch, and hearing. The VBT (beep boop) located on his head is small, silver in color, and with no major markings, spanning the width of his head like a headband.
Recet is clothed in the typical dark and form-concealing garb of Xikarian Detective-Policemen. A dark tunic, a dark cloak, and dark sound-muffling boots make the look. His weapons are hidden on his belt beneath his cloak—a long knife, a pistol, and an extendable sniper rifle, as well as the necessary equipment to maintain each weapon.
Personality: Organized, easily stressed, and a stickler to the rules, Recet Dyruri is irritable, to say the least. Stress is something he is well-acquainted with at this point, though he is not yet any better at dealing with it healthily.
Yet he is hardly mean: Recet hates change most of all, and his recent experiences with Touo Aleko and Solindas—that is, meeting them—have brought about quite a bit of change. When in a good mood, Recet is calm and understanding. Of himself, Touo Aleko, and Solindas, Recet may have the most morals. He lived and thrived in the calm and stable society of Norcius, the capital of the Xikarian Amalgamate, and had only ever killed in self-defense before he lost his home. In many ways, he is the moral anchor which keeps his group from going overboard.
Likes: Planning and organization, vehicles, tea.
Dislikes: Comments about his species’ height, general chaos, general helplessness, poorly-brewed tea.
Skills: Recet is a skilled mechanic, technician, and sniper. In addition, Recet is also a skilled pilot. In a straight fight, Recet would not fare well at all.
Powers/Abilities: In exchange for poor eyesight, or a total lack thereof (depending on if he has his VBT on him), Recet has excellent hearing, smell, and other senses.
Other:

- Name: Touo Aleko Vi Tomemnun Di Soneni (Or just Touo Aleko if you’re short on time)
Age: Thirty
Gender: Female
Species: Nohkkra
World of Origin: Unknown (Dyruri 3 vessel)
Physical Appearance: Touo Aleko is a Nohkkra. Standing at 6’8”, Touo Aleko’s body is almost dinosaurian in appearance. Two dark grey eyes with white irises decorate her crocodillian head, and two pairs of large batlike ears, able to flush red depending on her mood, accentuate the head. A long killing claw takes the place of each hand; Nohkkra use their feet as hands. A long, raptorian tail acts both as balance while moving and as a third leg; it is semi-prehensile, and supports the body while the feet are off the ground.
Her body is clad in dark armor which obscures her form. Constructed of a tough alloy, Touo Aleko can take hard hits, though the armor’s flexibility allows for her to be able to move quickly in order to avoid such hits in the first place. On the back of her chestpiece is a large, metallic device which can unfold into a large pair of delicate wings, allowing Touo the ability to temporarily fly, quietly. The wings are reminiscent of the skeletal form of bat wings, with no webbing in between the struts. The struts generate an invisible field which catches air and acts as any physical wing membrane would.
Personality: One could say that Touo Aleko is spirited, but that would imply an innocence to her. In reality, Touo Aleko is fueled by her inner distrust, which itself is veiled behind her outer confidence and sheer emotional strength. She has been hit hard before—it would take a lot to wear her down more.
In spite of this, Touo Aleko has come to enjoy the camaraderie with the other inhabitants of the Dyruri 3 vessel (beep boop). She may consider them true friends—but when the time comes in which she must make a choice, it is unclear if she will remain loyal.
Likes: Fighting, meat products.
Dislikes: Accusations that all she likes to do is fight, personal questions, small spaces, long periods without food.
Skills: Though not dexterous, Touo Aleko’s greatest physical strength (barring cybernetic and robotic enhancements) is her agility. Touo Aleko is an acrobat on the battlefield, able to defeat even heavily armored enemies by striking at weak points. If there are no such weak points, then under ideal circumstances, she would have a team to expose them for her.
Touo Aleko’s ranged options are limited to a simple plasma pistol mounted on her arm claw, designed to stun and not kill.
Powers/Abilities: Thanks to robotic enhancements, Touo has the ability of temporary true flight, unlike Solindas, who can only hover a foot or two above the ground.

Solindas’ weapon, when not in use, are mounted over her back, akin to fly or beetle wings.
Personality: Solindas is about as charismatic as any rock would be. Possessing zero social skills outside of her interactions with Recet and Touo, Solindas is incredibly blunt about nearly anything. Even when visibly emotional, Solindas is more prone to a temper tantrum than any expression of joy. That is not to say that this is all for a lack of trying on her part: Solindas has long attempted to develop herself into a mindset more befitting an organic: a mindset able to appreciate the smaller things in life; a truly arbitrary worldview.
Yet in a way, it is this aloofness which makes Solindas an outstanding tactician. Barring conflicts which she has deep personal stakes in, she is able to look upon nearly any situation objectively, and provide advice or strategy to accordingly benefit whichever side she prefers—morality of the situation made irrelevant.

Dislikes: The Metallurgists’ Idyll and anything affiliated with it.

Powers/Abilities: Solindas can float. Due to her not actually touching the ground at any given moment, Solindas is extremely quick, and hits extremely hard, due to this speed. In turn, she is not precise or agile, relying on the sheer fact that she is not composed of a single solid body in order to avoid hits; her combat strategy is to hit first, and if attacked, allow for the enemy to miss instead of dodging.
With this in mind, Solindas’ bodypieces can separate from each other quite a ways before Solindas loses control over them. This distance is not exact, though

Seams and cracks around it’s body are filled with a purple energy. The rock has made his hands and legs a lot thicker (ayy) than any normal human. Not nearly as agile as any human. Eyes are a slightly dim purple.
Personality: Warwisp is old. Wise. Patient. The destruction of its people of past eras gone by affects it, but Warwisp is mostly at peace. The Terrans that remain regard him as their most gifted, but it doesn’t feel this way. An overall humble creature who admires wisdom above all else to a fault. Takes caution to all situations placed in front of it and will refrain from hasty action. Mediates often, prefers the diplomatic approach.
Likes: Wise actions, history, pacifistic choices
Dislikes: Foolish actions, haste, general reluctance to compromise
Skills: Not many. Warwisp isn’t overly remarkable, simply learning from mistakes from eras gone by. Many say its diplomatic skill should be a skill but isn’t really something honed or required.
Powers/Abilities: Manipulates gravity. Can’t outright control it but can cause gravity to intensify or lessen. Tends to use it to offset its poor agility. Its poor strength isn’t an issue when gravity becomes less of an issue.
Other: Warwisp is ultimately not a combatant unless strained to do so. Beep Boop.

Physical Appearance: Yyoi is a somewhat slender, bipedal and furless/hairless alien with smooth scales adorning her body. She’s somewhat tiny at only maybe 4’1.” Her scales are somewhat misshapen and not uniform, colors of teal, purple and yellow intersecting at random points. Her eyes are a stormy grey. Her somewhat human shape is contrasted by longer arms and stubbier legs. Her clothing is a fancy suit, adorned with golden trace and a large drum hanging from her neck with straps. A matching hat sits proudly on her head, giving her a few extra inches of artificial height. She carries two black drumsticks. The drum itself is a gold drum with metal supports.
Personality: Yyoi is a somewhat boisterous personality with a flair for showmanship. She is kind in nature but can be aggressive when picked on for her tiny size. She looks to impress others with her drumming ability and her overall skillful qualities. Occasionally naïve.

Skills: Drumming is top notch.

Physical Appearance: Orwin is an almost bear-like creature which has a rough outer layer of fur, walking upon four legs. The fur is mostly a dark grey, with slight streaks of a brown that grow. Skin is exposed mostly upon the underbelly, a bumpy layer of black. Eyes are a glowing yellow. Adorned in armor, plates resting upon the fronts of his legs and a large plate strapped upon his back, with a helmet upon his head only going over the sides of his face. Armor is a solid white, usually dirtied quickly. His mouth/chin are fully exposed for biting. A metal grill of sorts keeps his teeth protected and sharp, virtually indestructible. Orwin is large, thrice the size of a typical grizzly bear.
Personality: Orwin is quiet. While mostly a warrior for the Molven people, Orwin isn’t exactly loud and obnoxious like warrior types would be. He isn’t overtly intelligent either, mostly of average intelligence compared to others. He can be rash and pushy, somewhat defensive over matters that bother him. Leading his own unit, he has leadership qualities on the battlefield and is willing to engage with others to succeed.
Likes: Courageous action, victory, other soldiers, military action
Dislikes: Cowards, cowards, and cowards. Elitism.
Skills: Mostly physical skills relating to his size. Can bulldoze through most materials due to his hide strength + armor. Jaw can rip and tear through most materials. Can apply lots of force through his jaw. Claws can be effective but aren’t used often, just using his strength to hold enemies down. Can jump high thanks to his strong muscles.
Powers/Abilities: None. Teeth can’t really shatter if that’s a power.

Likes: Rock music, Metal music, Skulls, Knives (do not trust her with them)
Dislikes: Beep Boop (don’t ask), the color yellow, group hugs
Skills: Parkour, some band trivia (mostly useless stuff), really good at dying hair and straightening it, moderately skilled with knives but can be reckless.

Other: She is from the foster care system but she mostly hates it. If you want to offend her then call her an orphan, that really gets on her nerves.

Physical Appearance: 6’ 5”, has a constantly bleeding stab wound to the chest, because of the wound she always has a bandage and her breasts bound to provide compression, long black hair that reaches all the way down her back that is normally loose but is braided when it needs to be pulled back.
Personality: Kind hearted, sweet, generally upbeat. Friendly.
Likes: Generally aesthetically pleasing things, animals, trees
Dislikes: When people say annoying things like Beep boop, large amounts of violence
Skills: Braiding, Hairstyling, bandaging wounds on the chest (because she does it to herself all the time)
Powers/Abilities: Basic magic mostly illusions and Telekinesis like stuff, and the only complicated magic she knows is how to slow down bleeding (it took her like 50 years to figure that out)
Other: Her immortality is connected to the constantly bleeding wound in her chest. She was cursed that it would never change until the curse was broken (making it the most protected part of her body) by “True loves kiss” blah blah. She isn’t interested in finding her true love. The curse also causes any major wounds elsewhere to regenerate. She has slowed the bleeding down so that she only needs to replace her bandage every hour at most. She cannot slow the bleeding while she sleeps so she often does not sleep on a natural bed but on a bed that directs the blood into a hole in the ground.

Age: She despises counting past 100 so she does not know her exact age, it is somewhere around 600

World of origin: Galacia
She was born off-world therefore she has no home world in her own view. As an egg she was found on one planet and hatched while the ship was on its way somewhere else. She does not know the exact details for they are not important to her.
Physical Appearance: She has red irises, cat like pupils, light blonde slightly shaggy hair, and sharp teeth. She has multiple pairs of wings like an insect. She is around 5’6”, and she has a tail that is normally tightly curled and tucked under her shirt.
Personality: She is normally agreeable unless you give her a very good reason to not trust you. She can take things rather literally. She can be very loyal and can be very selfless but it isn’t that common. She thinks she is funny, but more often than not her humor isn’t very funny. She will try to be your friend if she likes you and if you don’t accept it, it will happen anyways.
Likes: The words Beep Boop (she finds them to be amusing), the sound of other languages, trees, and snowball fights
Dislikes: unnecessary violence (but necessary can be a loose interpretation)
Skills: She is a trained assassin but she just likes to say, “I’m very good at killing things”. Her tail has spines that can be shot out similar to porcupines’ quills. She is also venomous but rarely ever bites and sometimes forgets that she is venomous.
Powers/ abilities: She has some very basic telepathic powers, though her main power is ice. She normally uses it to turn her forearms into ice blades. She can breathe extremely cold air onto others but doesn’t do it often. If startled she sometimes turns one forearm into an ice blade and holds the potential threat at blades length. She can form ice blades quickly but cannot melt her ice quickly, so she has to wait for it to melt before being able to use her hand and forearm again
Other: She isn’t romantic at all. She likes especially hot or spicy foods. She sings sometimes but not very often and isn’t good at it.
Sylvanria's Characters:

Species: Spirit (sort of a magic elemental)
World of Origin: Arcan
Physical Appearance: Shade is humanoid in shape, but is almost entirely pitch black, with no real physical details aside from his roughly talon-shaped claws, and his large, pale green, slitted eyes. He has a very thin build, and stands at only about 4'7". He wears plain brown clothes, usually with a hooded cloak over the top, though he sometimes wears a brightly patterned green scarf which he seems to have taken a liking to.
Personality: Shade is nervous basically all the time. He is easily startled by loud sounds, and generally suspicious of new people and things. He is, however, also very curious about everything, though he can have trouble understanding more complex concepts. Generally, he will be nervous around anything new he encounters, but once he's sure it won't hurt him, he will want to investigate it. Because he passively reads the surface emotions of anyone around him, Shade tends to be extremely concerned for the well-being of just about everyone. If someone he knows, or sometimes even a stranger, is upset, he will usually want to try to do something about it. However, if someone in his vicinity is any kind of angry, he may shy away from them, even if he has no reason to expect them to do anything.
Likes: New things (that aren't scary), cool shapes/patterns, and friends
Dislikes: Irritable people, loud sounds
Skills: Very few non-magical skills, but he does have claws. He mostly uses them to climb things, but in theory he could scratch someone if he really needed to. He is pretty fast, though.
Powers/Abilities: Shade is a very powerful telepath, limited mostly by what he is willing to and knows how to do. That said, he usually only uses his abilities for communication, especially since he does not speak or understand any languages. Aside from basic and long range communication, Shade has a variety of other abilities. His most direct combat ability is a sort of blunt-force psionic scream, which can cause anything from disorientation and headaches, up to unconsciousness or even death, depending on the strength of the attack. While he has learned to 'aim' it fairly well over time, he can still have trouble if he has allies standing too near him, especially if he is under stress. He can also affect the thoughts and emotions of people around him, though it's more difficult to do with more obvious changes, and much less likely to work if he is noticed. He usually prefers not to do this unless he has no other options, though. He can also, with some concentration, alter other people's perception of objects, or even cause them to see something that isn't there, though he cannot control the specifics of what they see, nor force them to believe it is real. For instance, he sometimes uses this to make himself appear human, to avoid making a scene. Everyone who he can affect that sees him will see a human, but the specifics of his appearance vary between individuals, and someone who has seen him before will often still recognize him.
Other: He sometimes makes little noises, such as 'beep boop' or high pitched trills.

Physical Appearance: Serin is about 5'6", with brown eyes, matching brown hair almost always pulled into a ponytail, and a slightly pointed chin and nose. She wears sturdy clothes with as many pockets as possible, and often wears a thick gray cloak over the top. She carries a bow and quiver, and sometimes has a sword as well, although it sees little use. She also usually carries a backpack with a few days worth of food and some basic survival equipment.
Personality: Serin is, first and foremost, incredibly loyal. For those few people that she calls real friends, there is nothing that will stop her from doing everything she can to help them, and to keep them safe and happy. She has spent a good portion of her life trying to protect Rylek, for better or for worse, and that's unlikely to change any time soon. To this end, along with pretty much anything else she decides to do, she can be incredibly stubborn. If she puts her mind to something, very few people or things can change her mind. Fortunately, for her and everyone around her, she isn't stupid. She likes to have a plan for everything, and be as prepared for anything as she can at any given moment, but if something she doesn't know how to handle happens, she is much more likely to make things up as she goes than admit to not knowing what to do. She does have a tendency to get herself in over her head, but she thinks it's better her than anyone she cares about. She spends a lot of her free time trying to learn new skills, both because she always wants to become more useful, and because she can't stand having nothing to do.
Likes: Rylek, Shade, dogs, teasing people (preferably without insulting them, unless they deserve it)
Dislikes: Being bossed around or ignored, not knowing what's going on, being lied to

Serin learned basic survival skills and archery from her father at a young age, and has only improved these skills over time. Physical Appearance: Rylek is 5'2" and fairly thin, with blue eyes, curly black hair, and a few freckles. He usually wears casual clothes, with long sleeves and pants. He does have a fairly nice blue cloak, which he is rarely seen without if the weather at all permits it. He usually doesn't carry much on his person, aside from some money and often miscellaneous trinkets stuffed in his pockets at random. When using magic, or if he's very stressed, his eyes glow pale blue, though this is only barely noticeable under normal circumstances.
Personality: Rylek is a generally quiet person, though he has gotten over a lot of his nervousness over time. He does not like talking to new people, or drawing any kind of attention to himself at all, though he won't try very hard to avoid a simple conversation. This is because he has a tendency to mistrust strangers, though it doesn't take too much for him to warm up to someone. While he doesn't talk much most of the time, if he's comfortable enough, and gets onto a topic he cares about, it can be hard to get him to stop talking. He can usually stay calm in most situations, but if you manage to make him angry, you'll probably regret it. That said, he is highly against violence unless it's absolutely necessary, and will usually do everything in his power to avoid any kind of conflict.
Likes: Reading/learning things, Serin, debating just about anything, being helpful
Dislikes: Strangers in general, being the center of attention, repetitive sounds (beep boop)
Skills: Rylek mostly excels in being quiet and looking at things. He's not exactly stealthy, but he is decent at being inconspicuous. He is very perceptive- assuming he's paying attention- and good at figuring things out based on small details. He also has a large amount of generally useless facts memorized, if that ever amounts to anything.
Powers/Abilities: Rylek is a mage, and what he lacks in actual training, he makes up for in practice and, though he's unlikely to admit it, raw power. His magic is best described as raw, pale blue energy, though it can be channeled into 'spells' with some effort. His most used ability is easily an energy shield, which he can summon in any size or shape, though larger sizes are much harder to maintain. As the shield takes hits, he has to pour more energy into it, but it can take a surprising amount of damage before he is forced to drop it. His second most used ability is simply a ball of energy, which can be used for many different effects. Most often he will just hold it in his hand as a light source, but he can also throw it, either to see something farther away, or as a weapon. He can alter its temperature, as well as add effects on impact, which allows him to do things like light fires and create shockwaves, though he usually tries to avoid causing that much damage to anything. He can also make himself temporarily invisible, but this takes a lot of effort, so he can only do it for a few minutes at a time, and is usually reluctant to do so. Supposedly, he could learn to do a lot more things, but he isn't quite there yet.
Other: Up until recently, Rylek had to hide his magic, and even now he has only met a few people with similar abilities. Because of this, he is likely to be very interested in anyone else who demonstrates any kind of 'strange powers.'
