Travelers (World List)

This section keeps a list of all the different worlds, mentioned by characters for an easy reference of different locations in the Traveler's RP. Old Character Worlds may be mentioned and have relevance to characters, but only New Character Worlds may appear in the story.


New Character Worlds
(Worlds belonging to characters exclusive to Travelers RP)

Doris - Modern-day Earth in the year 2017, no magic or abnormal events. Homeworld of Edward 'Ed' Fletcher.

Galsenra - Non-modern world with Earth-like variation of climates, days, and seasons, but otherwise completely different continents and oceans. World is mostly non-technological, mass-production does not exist, any machine that does exist is powered through magical contraptions. Humans co-exist with a wide variety of other intelligent races, including various species of dragon, Zosterans (Fish-people), Agathisians (Bird-like people), and Manisites (Beast-like people). Magical phenomenon happens very frequently, often caused by the presence of energy known as 'mana' existing in crystal formations throughout the world. Mana has the power to mutate natural wildlife or transform objects, exists in various elemental forms, and can be purified into a form usable for people. Dragons are the sole group of races capable of using mana in its raw form, although rarely this power can be found in the other races among special individuals. Homeworld of Lynn Adrian Foster and Elysia Forrest Underwood.

Mónavir - Similar to Earth in the early Twentieth Century in terms of technological development. This world is populated by the Avimar, who, in biology and appearance are a chimaera of human and avian characteristics. There are no birds. It is rumored that at one point in its history, there were birds and a humanoid race on this world, but that they somehow became merged. There is no real evidence to confirm this, however. No magical phenomena. Homeworld of Therese Tytona Asio.


Old Character Worlds
(Worlds belonging to characters taken from different RP's other than Travelers)

Meta-Chimeris - Modern-day Earth in the year 2016, magical/scientific phenomenon can occur. Humans have no magical capability, but the world overlaps with an alien dimension, and children known as 'changelings' replace human infants in the cradle. Changelings have varying powers and appearances, some easily explained, others completely anomalous. Homeworld of Simona 'Honey' Dave Clark and Scyllo 'Scylla' Randolph.

Virtue - Futuristic, post-apocalyptic Earth set after a terrible nuclear war left much of the planet in ruins. Hundreds of years later, after radioactivity has mostly subsided, severely-mutated arthropods, reptiles, and mammals that have grown to gigantic size leave the barren, desert-like surface world hostile to human life. Human civilization is forced to inhabit cities underground, every year sending up scavengers to search for resources and assess the planet. Non-magical world, physics are slightly altered, radioactive particles have stronger mutagenic qualities compared to other worlds. Homeworld of Doris 'Mouse' Moore.


Corridor Worlds
('Corridors' are tiny pocket-realms that sometimes exist in the spaces between portals. Each Corridor possesses a 'guardian' that watches over it. These are rare occurrences, but important ones)

New Character Worlds

Urush-jahon - High technological development by Earth standards as of 2017. Populated by the Qulik, a race of mammalian, humanoid bipeds; and the Cher'pakha, a race of turtle-like reptiles. The Cher'pakha are under the occupation of the Qulik, who dominate the planet and have a totalitarian system of government, controlled by a dictator. No magical phenomena. Homeworld of Galzad Kuchzi Rahbar, Qayzu Kuchli Rahbar, and Zhesta'kai Ob'olok.

Entómo - Technological development is similar in many ways to Europe's Victorian period, except that steam has been utilized in a variety of ways to produce some truly spectacular things (in other words, this is steampunk). The level of science is also closer to what it would be in Earth, 2017. This world is the home to insect-like/crustacean-like creatures of all kinds, and their is more than one sapient species, including the Kavóra. No magical phenomena. Homeworld of Il-Sychi Nychía.
